My art, in California (again!)...

Austin B. out in California now has a few more pieces of mine hanging on his walls. He's got an older, pen and ink whale study, my illustration for page 519 and an earlier, alternate version of page 538 which had some slightly smudged ink in the letters near the bottom forcing my overly neurotic self to re-do the piece.

Awesomely, he emailed to let me know that the entryway to his apartment "is now the unofficial 'Matt Kish Room'" since my stuff is hanging there next to the Luis Vera "Fuck Art" piece (which I love) and a Joe Coleman print, which is fine company for my art indeed. I am truly honored, Austin.

He sent along a few photos of the art, which I am sharing here. It really looks great on the walls, and it brings me no end of happiness to know that these pieces, so very dear to me, are now living in a new and very good home.

That page 538 alternate really looks damn good next to the Luis Vera piece. It's a huge honor to share a wall with that one.
