Click this and make it BIG

Albert Mobilio of Bookforum magazine has written some fascinating and exceptionally kind things about my upcoming book Moby-Dick in Pictures: One Drawing for Every Page. I believe this column appears only in the print edition of the magazine, but they were kind enough to share this JPG of the piece with me, so click on the image below to make it big and read it. I'm honestly kind of speechless after reading this.

Great review, though nothing less than the book deserves.

Good grief I've got a lot of catching up to do! And how long till publication date?

Ah, is it out? Will I get mine soon? Unfortunately, I can't get plane tickets for New York, Colombus or Cincinnatti. Good luck!

Titus, the book is actually due out on October 11. I believe that holds true for your part of the world as well. I am getting a small number of advance copies myself, and Tin House rushed these two out to me as soon as they hit their desk so I could get a good look at it.

matt in a blog - i have lost the habit of checking you here and have just come upon this page - so very cool or so true! i love all the blooming outcome of your venture (and was glad to see a good view of your wife in another entry; i feel like i actually know you guys!)

my book has shipped. the sight of the soft covers makes me maybe regret i got the hardback, for sturdiness and durability - i so like the softer texture... but never mind
it is being shipped to montana so i'll have to wait for a trip to the P.O. by my people there. best lizzy
