Studio visit video, part 1 of 6

My publisher Tin House Books asked me to create a few videos to help promote the book, so I decided to start with a "tour" of my closet studio. I'm keeping all the videos short and sweet so that you can even watch them at work. Check out part 1 right here...

  1. Geez, I didn't even know until I posted this how unflattering that screenshot is! Well, watch and laugh. And if I was just a mysterious unknown artist before, now you can see exactly what I look like and hear exactly what I sound like.

  3. Thanks Buck! And Sandy, I did everything I could to make that tiny space as pleasant to be in as possible. It really did work, and I eventually got very comfortable in that little turquoise-colored box. It started to feel almost warm, sunny and womb-like in there after a while.

  4. Hi, Matt! Your name popped into my head this morning as I was thinking back on high school. I Googled your name and here you are! I can't wait to check out your book! I hope to get a chance to see you here in Columbus. Cheers!

  5. John Lute! Holy cow it was awesome to read this (and get your email). Truly a blast from the past, but I have such vivid memories of sitting in art class with you. So weird! Expect an email very soon...
