Another Character Wednesday piece. I really REALLY hate vampires. Other than a brief spell of being very scared of them when I was 5 or 6, I have always found them monumentally boring, dull and predictable. I can't stand vampire literature, I don't understand the appeal and vampire movies put me to sleep. Or make me angry. So doing this piece, an image of the character Cassidy who is an Irish vampire from the Vertigo comic Preacher, was quite a challenge. How to draw something you just hate? In the end, I think I did a decent job.
