Dr. Ph. Martin

I was fortunate enough to recently sell quite a few pieces of art, so since I had a bit of extra income I invested in these...

I've not used these before, but I find the wide variety of jewel-like colors appealing. If anyone reading this has any experience with them, I would be grateful for any advice.

  1. I think this is the stuff Brent primarily uses for his watercolor. I could be wrong.

The reproduction (for print) is really good with Dr. Martin's. I believe it's acrylic in it's base which means you'll have to wash the brushes a little more frequently.

  2. Thanks Thomas, I'll have to ask Brent next time I see him. He's usually really forthcoming with his art tips, so I know I'll learn a thing or two.

I've started working with these already, but they are tough to master. Not at all what I'm used to after mostly working with pens and markers, and even harder to control than acrylic paint. Still, the colors are amazing and I'm going to keep trying until I get it right.
