PANEL Comics: Green to Green (2012, 8 pages)

Shortly after the power was restored about two weeks ago, the lamp in my scanner burned out. I just got a new one hooked up on Saturday, but I've yet to scan any Heart of Darkness art or new sketchbook pages. However all is not yet lost since I haven't posted this eight page, wordless comic I did with good friend Dara Naraghi for the PANEL: Green comic anthology we put out in April. Dara wrote the story and I illustrated it. I deliberately went for a very simple, cartoony look, similar to the comic strips and gags I remember reading as a kid in the early 1970s. I was quite pleased with how it turned out. Enjoy.

Dara, this and "All in a Knight's Work" are the most fun I have had drawing a comic since doing my own Spudd 64 issues. Also, this is the fourth comic we've done together which is pretty amazing since I rarely work with anyone else's scripts other than my own.
