I'm assuming you met this lady at a rather wild party, Matt:))

It is a mixed blessing (aren't they all?) but I am indeed the project of a checkered past!

You've used the image of a woman with one wing a few times in the past few years, Matt, so now I'm curious and have to ask, what does that image mean to you?

Hello RC, I will have to think about whether or not I want to answer that. There is a strong significance to that image, but it is deeply personal. Ordinarily, I am a bit of an open book online and if you were to meet me in person, I think you would probably be surprised as just how well you felt like you already knew me. In this case though, some of the memories are quite painful and I am not sure I want to unearth that online yet. I apologize.

No apologies necessary, Matt. You share more of yourself online than I ever will. But I understand now why you hesitated to sell the collage for page 72 of MOBY-DICK, “…the sight of many unclad, lovely island creatures, round the Horn….” I'm happy that you did, though. ;)

With best wishes,
RC
