But really, I just used a triangle template and traced smaller and smaller ones inside. It's not as easy as it seems, and you can see all sorts of irregularities, but it's an effect I love.Matt Kishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17854685960260054407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1265792817762899253.post-79254478444333728072010-06-04T09:13:52.887-04:002010-06-04T09:13:52.887-04:00Thank you so much Hannah, I was actually really wo...Thank you so much Hannah, I was actually really worried about this one. I almost started it another way, then stopped, then went with something really intuitive. After a bit, I became deeply worried that somehow this looked too much like a (don't laugh!) thing from the Nintendo Super Mario games called a Gooper Blooper. I finished it anyway and my wife assured me it looked far more eerie and surreal than a Super Mario character, and it reminded her of a 1960s sci-fi book cover. So I felt better and I'm starting to like it more and more.

The background image is actually a circuit board map from a radio repair guide from the mid 1960s. I loved the pattern of the circuits and the exploding lines.Matt Kishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17854685960260054407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1265792817762899253.post-10957711644698022482010-06-04T06:20:09.649-04:002010-06-04T06:20:09.649-04:00The detail on this one is exquisite.
