This one took way longer than I thought it would, which is why it is a day late. Oddly enough, I decided to use black colored pencil instead of ink thinking it would save me time. Lesson learned.

Yowza, love it. One of my favorite contrasts in any kind of print or image, be it art or even fabric, is black against very bright colors. The pink eye is especially fantastic - and even a bit haunting - as it juts out from steady intensity of the blacks.
ReplyDeleteI was, in a weird way, kind of going for the effect that you see in those blacklight posters from the 70s. That really bright almost fluorescent color against a velvety black. I think I came fairly close.
