Great picture! I like how you can still see suggestions of Queequeg's form, especially the fact that he's sitting on his haunches. And the fact that he's kind of small in this image really lends to that sense that he's part of a larger universe (hinting at early transcendentalism perhaps?).
Your comments are very perceptive Rudy. A greater awareness of some of the social, political and philosophical issues current in Melville's time really enhances the experience of "Moby-Dick." I try to introduce some of those elements in the art I'm making, but it is difficult for an artist with limited skills like myself. Still, it worked well here and I am pleased it showed through.
