Titus, very sharp indeed! I am fascinated by Aboriginal art. I have long had too great a tendency to rely far too much on closed, heavy, very defined lines so learning to do things with a brush, and learning to make images in fragments or pieces like this, has been a revelation.
At first it was so hard to even see this. How does one paint a soul? So I just forgot everything I was thinking and looked inside myself and remembered what I had done with that piece about the soul of the blacksmith. The rest came easy.
