MOBY-DICK, Page 076

Title: "Fiery pit! fiery pit! ye insult me, man; past all natural bearing, ye insult me. It's an all-fired outrage to tell any human creature that he's bound to hell. Flukes and flames!"

  1. This one was an absolute BLAST to work on Kyle. This may be one of my favorites as well. I am especially fond of the colors and the monsters, they each turned out even better than I had hoped.

  2. Brilliant! Like concept art for some unfinished Genndy Tartakovsky adaptation of the book at hand.

  3. Brandon, I had not thought of the Tartakovsky connection but I think that is very apt. "Samurai Jack" had some of the most dazzling imagery and design I've ever seen in animation, so I can see how some of that might have also had a very subtle but direct influence on me.
