MOBY-DICK, Page 320

Title: Far back on the side of the head, and low down, near the angle of either whale's jaw, if you narrowly search, you will at last see a lashless eye, which you would fancy to be a young colt's eye; so out of all proportion is it to the magnitude of the head.

  1. Thank you Buck. This is another one that started out with a few ideas sketched out at my desk at work on a piece of paper from the printer. It grew and grew and eventually became the finished piece itself.

  2. Thank you Terresa. It took a ghastly amount of time, but it became oddly soothing to work on this. I like the sense of scale, and that tiny eye in the vast bulk of the body.
