  2. This was one of my early favorites. I was having trouble conceptualizing it, then this image hit me in a flash. It was completed in mere minutes, but came out perfectly.

    I do hope you publish this as a book. My fascination with Moby Dick started out as an interest in Rockwell Kent, which led me to his illustrated version.

  4. Thank you very much SprocketScientist, this piece for me was a real breakthrough. I had never really been very comfortable with this kind of minimalism until I did this piece.

    The good news is that there will indeed be a book collecting all of this art. It will be out in either October or November of 2011 from Tin House Books and should be available in many fine independent bookstores, major retailers, and online. I'm monstrously excited.
