As for the symbol, it's definitely more intuitive than coldy logical. I add the symbol to illustrations that, to me at least, really focus deeply on Queequeg the man and harpooneer rather than just illustrations that he is a part of. I'm not entirely sure if this has been a consistent thing so far, but since every illustration is such a personal reaction to the text for me, I feel very much at peace with everything I have done so far so there is that.
This one is amazing! What makes you decide when to use the Queequeg infinity sign and when to leave it off?
