Mike, you are absolutely correct and your memory is amazing. That Dr. Fate miniseries is still one of the highest of high points from my teenaged comic reading years. All that business with the Lords of Chaos and Order really thrilled me, but Giffen's art (obviously) did even more so. I've just never forgotten. I remember being heartbroken the day you told me he was just ripping off Jose Munoz.
