Title: For one, I gave myself up to the abandonment of the time and the place; but while yet all a-rush to encounter the whale, could see naught in that brute but the deadliest ill.

  2. Thank you, I really wanted this one to look soft, decayed, and suggestive of death. I'm glad it conveys some of that.

  4. Thank you Mr. Black. As you know, feedback and praise from you mean quite a bit. I was originally a little dissatisfied with this piece, but slowly, day by day, I have come to like it more and more. I am learning how to loosen up a little, and not let the tyranny of a single line dictate everything I do.
