    In a completely unrelated aside, I'm off to the Thornhill (yes, really, that tiny Scottish village) launch of the new Harry Potter editions with illustrations by Clare Melinsky, who lives just up the road.

    I looked at some of Clare's art online, especially the new Harry Potter covers, and they are just phenomenal! You are so fortunate to be able to say hello face to face with someone that brilliant. It's interesting to see those books get a new face since for the longest time those old covers (as good as they are) have sort of become the de facto face of the Harry Potter world.
