  1. It's so strange that you commented on that because my wife mentioned the exact same thing when I showed her. We have both seen and laughed through nearly every Python film, especially the brief animated interludes that Terry Gilliam created. Our special favorites were those where he depicted God as a grumpy bearded old man in a ridiculous crown suddenly popping out of the clouds to deal with some recalcitrant sinner, probably because we were both raised Catholic and are familiar with the numerous almost preposterously realistic images of God and Jesus. So much of the visual imagery I absorbed throughout my life seems to be bubbling to the surface with these pieces.
