  2. My wife said the white bars reminded her of bone. Which was a wonderful compliment as well.

  3. So much impact. The white 'bars' remind me of newspaper structures I used to make as a child - where we rolled up sheets and taped them into sticks and built cubes, pyramids, buildings. When I look at this drawing that is what I imagine - and I imagine the flame reaching them and burning them down.

  4. Samantha, that is fascinating! I never did anything like that with newspapers, but now I almost want to try. I do like your addressing the combustible nature of what you see...I had hoped for that to come through and am very grateful it did.
