  1. I felt that this is the week when you really hit your stride, 53, 54, 46 the queequeg & ishmael embrace, wow, what an invigoratingly fresh take on melville!

  2. It was all due to Queequeg! Seriously, I felt like I was really almost fumbling along for a bit, but once I really keyed in on Queequeg - both visually and as a character in the novel - things really seemed to come to me very quickly. This entire world Melville had created truly started to feel real to me.
